My name is Viki Ackland. I was born and raised in London but started traveling at a young age. I have lived out West and over seas, and now reside in Toronto. I've had an interest in arts and crafts since I was a little kid but really did not do much in the way of crafts till much later in life. A late bloomer I guess. I was more interested in writing and being a famous author. I studied watercolor and painting and developed an interest in making jewelry quite out of the blue. I am a perfectionist and am always trying new designs and try very hard for each piece to be appealing and original. My son and I recently launched our own Canadian search engine named www.search-eh.ca and are trying to get that going. Right now I live with my cats Isabella and Thelonious, in the beaches which is very nice. I just hide out and make jewelry most days, which makes me very content, but the best part is knowing someone out there is wearing one of my creations.
